Biking Portland's Platinum Streets [VIDEO]

Earlier this week, Portland was named the first major city in America to be designated as a Platinum-level Bicycle Friendly Community. I had a little time on Saturday to bike downtown via the Springwater Trail. I took some video, but unfortunately forgot to bring my action mount, so I was steering with one hand and shooting with the other.

  1. That’s fantastic, I’m really envious…When I lived in the USA I lived in Aiken, SC and on the one occasion I used a bike to get somewhere people were looking at me like I was some sort of freak! I’m glad that’s not the case all over the US.

Now Im back in the UK and although biking is completely accepted over here many places don’t have bike lanes like you’ve got there.
