Downtown Portland 9/2/2010 [video]

I ventured out on my lunch break to do some tests with my new Digital Harinezumi 2.  I really like the old school feel to the video.  I stripped the audio out because it was a windy day.  I’m still exploring ways to hold and move the camera that make the footage feel more aged

Last minute edits for the weekend shoot

Two out of the four remaining days of shooting “Did You Kiss Anyone?” are this weekend, including the “shitting with the door open” scene the entire movie is based on.

Still editing…

We still have a few days left to shoot but summer schedules aren’t easy to coordinate. In the meantime, there’s editing.

Twitpic Highlights: Week of June 20th 2010

Sometimes the idea that I don’t actually own any of the content I put on third party sites like YouTube, Twitter, TwitPic, Facebook, etc, drives me crazy.  And since there’s a seriously lack of ways to send pictures from your phone to WordPress (COME ON! REALLY? NONE?) I’ve decided to occasionally post some TwitPic highlights

My first movie is on Ustream, whenever you need it

So I’ve been doing a little experiment to see how I could use Ustream to get more people to watch my first movie The Waiting List.  We had a live event where people chatted live with myself and almost all of the cast.  It was truly lots of fun.  But some people couldn’t attend because

Dave Knows… me

Last week I was interviewed by Heather (aka mile73.com) on Dave Knows.  This made me totally giddy but I was too busy getting ready for the Ustream live webcast chat event thing for The Waiting List that I didn’t have time to blog about it.  If you live in Portland, you probably read Dave Knows or

Using Ustream to promote your microbudget indie movie (Part 2)

Mark your calendars!  April 20th, 2010 is the day I’m going to be livestreaming my entire first movie, The Waiting List, on Ustream.  It’s already available on DVD, but to be honest, I don’t think I’ve purchased more than five DVDs in my life and I most likely will never purchase another.  I watch movies
