It’s been a while since I shot video on my bike so I decided to document my commute with my new Digital Harinezumi 2. My only rule was that I couldn’t stop unless I stopped naturally. My commute starts in SE Portland, goes along the Springwater Corridor and ends downtown.
I ventured out on my lunch break to do some tests with my new Digital Harinezumi 2. I really like the old school feel to the video. I stripped the audio out because it was a windy day. I’m still exploring ways to hold and move the camera that make the footage feel more aged …
Two out of the four remaining days of shooting “Did You Kiss Anyone?” are this weekend, including the “shitting with the door open” scene the entire movie is based on.
Glad this Augtober is finally feeling like summer. (“Augtober” blatantly stolen from @daveknowspdx )
We still have a few days left to shoot but summer schedules aren’t easy to coordinate. In the meantime, there’s editing.
I was eating lunch in Director Park, enjoying the view, when I realized the view wouldn’t be there soon once they build the tallest tower in Portland in that very spot. Change happens. Take lots of photos.
